About Donna Maria

Welcome to my website.  I am Donna and I live in the beautiful town of Belper in Derbyshire.  I am have been a papercutting artist for almost thirteen years, featuring on the front cover of the Belper Annual Calender as well as selling prints of my papercuts locally.

In 2021 I fell back in love with crochet, and stumbled upon something called 'Micro Crochet' which is done on a miniature scale with a very, very tiny hook.  Never being one to turn down a challenge, I set out to find everything out I could about this beautiful craft.  I started out using a 2mm hook and embroidary thread and eventually worked my way down to fine silk cotton and a 0.4mm Tulip hook.
